- Completed Undergraduate Studies at Eastern Michigan University in 1995 with a Bachelor   of Science Degree with a concentration on Political Science and Public Law &   Government.

- Served as President of the Legal Career Association while attending Easter Michigan.

- Served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Brian W. Mackenzie of the 52-1 District Court in Novi   from 1997-2001.

- Completed Juris Doctorate from Detroit College of Law, Michigan State University in 1999.
